This is Sinful Colors Chinese Red. From what I can tell, it's a rare one. Aside from the aforementioned lack of publicly available photos, I haven't even seen this one in the hands of other collectors. I'm sure there are several bottles floating around, but no one has claimed ownership. I guess I understand. Why post about a boring ol' red when Sinful made so many funky, unusual colors in its early years? It may just be another red, but it's a good one. This photo makes it look a little more brilliant and shiny than it really is. In person, it's a more subdued medium red with a pearly pinkish shimmer. I can't say I reach for it all too often, but maybe I should start.
My poor bottle has definitely been through some things. Most of the Sinful logo has been rubbed away over time. The ingredients list on the back has fared so poorly that it wasn't worth taking a picture of.
This is an incredibly old bottle, so I'm not surprised that it's a little worse for wear. How do I know its age? Well, the label on the cap is standard for all old-style bottles, but...

this oval bottom label makes it a true oldie. This label was phased out sometime in the mid-90s (according to a Sinful archivist that I know from Facebook), meaning that this bottle is at least 30 years old. Maybe the "94" in the serial number indicates a manufacturing date of 1994? I'm not sure, but bottles with this label style aren't easy to come by. I only have one more in my collection, on my bottle of Moddie Steppie.
Bye for now!
